Convalescent (military)
In May 1915 an auxiliary military hospital was established by the Kent/132 Voluntary Aid Detachment at Brooklyn, No. 12 Crystal Palace Road.  It had 20 beds and was affiliated to the Royal Herbert Hospital.

By 1917 the Hospital had 29 beds for sick and wounded servicemen.

In 1918 the Hospital transferred to the Edgehill Auxiliary Hospital.

Present status (October 2010)

The land has been redeveloped and Park Court, a 1930s development of nine apartment blocks, now occupies the site of the Hospital.
