In October 1914 Mr and Mrs Herbert M. Rogers opened an auxiliary home hospital in their house, Langley Wood, as an annexe to the Masonic Hall V.A.D. Hospital.

The Hospital had 12 beds and the running costs of it were borne by the Rogers.

It closed in 1915 when the Elstree Auxiliary Hospital opened.


Present status (November 2010)

The house still exists.  It has been divided into two residences.
